UXO Tours
UXO - Unexploded ordnance that did not explode when deployed and still pose a risk of detonation.
The UXO Tour is based on the premise that the GI resistance movement and the anti-war movement are UXO's. The GI resistance movement still poses a danger to the war-makers in Washington, but has yet to "detonate."
Uniting artists, soldiers, and veterans, the tour aims to amplify what soldiers have been saying for years: "Bring us Home. End the Wars. Support our veterans."
The UXO Tour includes:
- A concert tour of US military communities to support and build GI resistance, starting with a massive show in NYC during Fleet Week
- Each concert will provide a space for GI resistance, legal, mental health, and support organizations to connect with soldiers
- ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY PERSONNEL WILL BE GRANTED FREE ADMISSION. Tickets will be sold to the general public.
Musicians, Comedians, Soldiers, Veterans, and Organizers will join together on stage
- Sold Out shows will be broadcast live by local community or pirate radio stations so soldiers unable to attend can stll enjoy the show
- A film crew will document the tour and produce a DVD to be distributed to soldiers overseas with care packages
- Follow up support for soldiers, sailors, marines, and National Guard servicemembers.
The UXO Collective
The UXO collective consists of veterans, GI advocates, mental health professionals, organizers, and musicians. The collective was formed with the specific purpose of supporting the men and women in uniform resisting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
ARTISTS
Jello The band's sound retains some of the the spy-music-on-meth chaos of the DK's while adding a healthy dose of Detroit style proto-punk mixed with layers of sonic guitar noise, and Weiss' industrial excursions into metal percussion.
Boots Riley's lyrical message, backed by DJ Pam the Funktress, confronts injustice with a groove. Considered the best hip-hop act of the decade by Billboard, and always upping the anti, The Coup "make revolution sound like hot fun on a Saturday night."
It is not a song, a record, a t-shirt, or a band that changes and shapes the world. It’s community and union. Our band writes songs to build community and union, to create awareness and preparedness for when the students and workers of the world push to level the playing field and bring equality.” So which side are you on? The People or the Gun?
Half of New York's famous Leftover Crack collective. These squatter punk rock kids join the UXO Tour for a very rare appearance to give an appropriate soundtrack to Gi resistance!
A member of the legendary MC5, guitarist and proto-punk icon Wayne Kramer returned to prominence during the 1990s as a solo performer. In 2008, at the DNC, Wayne was one of the artists that led a 10,000 person march behind Iraq Veterans Against the War to confront the war plans of future President Obama.
Another artist who led the march at the DNC, and legendary guitarist of Rage Against the Machine, The Nightwatchman unleashes a powerful show reminiscent of The Clash and Woody Guthrie, proving his machine also kills fascists.
Coupled with dynamic rhythms that somehow flow together like streams of water, their ripped-from-the-headlines lyrics of liberation struggle have audiences having from the rafters. Just like the Clash and Rage before them, in the words of frontman Miles Solay, "Every generation needs a band like us."
With severe yet ethereal guitars chiming over the top of tribal percussion, shot through with singer Hayley Helmericks’ caustic lyrics, Snake sounds like a vital combination of spooky surf band, haunted carnival rock and Siouxsie Sioux fronting a pre-synth-driven New Order.
Their diverse sound makes them a hit whether on a punk bill, or a night filled with deadheads and tie-dye. No matter what, the band sticks out enough to reach more and more people with every performance.
Attic Dancers are three machines that run off of the Universal Will To Become. They were made and assembled in New Jersey to plumb the collective ID and turn it into music.
Army Values support IVAW
The Army Values Support IVAW
by ArmySergeant | Wed, 11/14/2007 - 3:14pm
A lot of people question how I can be a sergeant in the Army, giving my oath true weight, and believing in its values, and still be a member of IVAW.
It's easy. I believe in the Army's purpose-it is to defend our country and protect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I don't think its purpose is foreign wars we can't win. Its true purpose is noble, and has been subverted by armchair soldiers, politicians who have never had to serve. They don't know these values, and they don't live them-but I do. And here's why they support, rather than contradict, what I'm doing now as a member of IVAW.
Loyalty: Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the Army, your unit, and fellow soldiers.
Nowhere in this list does it say "the current leadership of your country, and their political decisions". I am loyal to my fellow soldiers; I do not want them to die in a purposeless war. I am loyal to the Army; I do not want it to be weakened on multiple fronts and taken away from its true purpose, defense of the nation. I am loyal to the Constitution; a Constitution which is under attack by men who have not sacrificed to protect it. I bear true faith and allegiance to these, most particularly the Constitution which founded our nation.
Duty: Fulfill your obligations
Our highest obligations as soldiers is our obligation to our country and the flag we salute. Our obligation as citizens and patriots compels us to defend our country in any way we can-against its destruction as well as its dishonor. The Iraq War, and the way it is being prosecuted, dishonors us in the eyes of the world, and even worse, dishonors us to ourselves.
Respect: Treat people as they should be treated.
Treat the people of the United States as well as the people of Iraq with respect. They deserve to be treated according to their status: if they are prisoners of war, then treat them with the full dignity accorded POWs. If they are criminals, then give them trials. Innocent until proven guilty: we do not lose our values when we step away from our shores.
Selfless Service: Put the welfare of the Nation, the Army, and your subordinates before your own.
Being a member of IVAW is hard. It is hard to stand up, to devote effort and time to an organization committed to what is right, when your leadership so firmly believes that it is wrong. It's hard to face the intimidation and harassment that many members of the active duty military face when they begin to speak out on what they feel. It's hard to stand up and tell your higher ups that they are committing crimes. But the welfare of the Nation, our continued survival as an honorable country, and the continued survival of the Army depends on some of us standing up, and saying, "Sir, no Sir!" That we will not participate in illegal acts, and we will report them when and where we see them. We will not train our soldiers to commit them, and will train our soldiers to follow the honorable path. And the honorable path now, the hard service, means standing up and speaking the truth, so that legislators can begin to realize it, and bring us home.
Honor: Live up to Army Values
Honor is living up to all the Army Values, but it is even older than that. It is the thing you have when you have nothing else left. It is all you need: it should be the cornerstone of a soldier. It is phrased as living up to all the Army Values, because if you lack even one, you cannot be an honorable soldier. It is the ability to look yourself in the mirror at the end of the day and know you have done all that you can, and that you have not had to reproach yourself for anything.
Our leadership is currently dishonorable. By their bending of the torture legislation to allow what they want to take place, they are attempting to put a stain upon our honor that will take at least a generation to erase. As soon as our soldiers have fulfilled their usefulness to them, leadership shuffles them away, with "personality disorders" instead of PTSD treatment. Benefits are cut, while contractors reach huge rewards. This is not taking care of the people who have given their all to the country. It is dishonorable, and the only way to restore that honor is to stand up against the people who are doing so and will do so again.
Integrity: Do what is right, legally and morally.
The things that the political leadership of this country are trying to do right now are neither legal nor moral. The acceptance of torture, the belief that once Americans go beyond their borders, they no longer have to hold to the beliefs that shaped our nation, 'baiting' with weapons caches, and other such tactics at the very least skirt the fine line of legality: they are definitely not moral. Claiming that it is okay to treat people dishonorably because they are not an organized force fighting against us is simply wrong, as is the argument that they are not citizens and therefore do not deserve the protections of the Constitution. We are the good guys! We do the right thing, even if others don't, and if our leadership does not understand that, it needs to. It needs to pull out of this war, and cease its immoral actions, to bring itself in line with the country's beliefs and principles.
Personal Courage: Face fear, danger, or adversity (physical or moral)
It does not take physical courage to stand up and fight against injustice in this fashion. Most members have not been physically attacked-the cowards who attack people for their beliefs have gone after a father of a dead servicemember instead (Carlos Arredondo). But it does take moral courage. It takes moral courage to stand up for what you know to be true and right, moral courage to say that the country is steering in the wrong direction, and you are committed by your oath to turn it around. It takes moral courage to resist a war that your leadership believes in, or to stand against your entire platoon and state that you will not treat a prisoner with anything less than full dignity. And it takes moral courage to be counted, here, to let people insult you for perceived cowardice, when the truth is that you, like I, may not be against all wars, all places, all times.
But hopefully you, like I, like many committed and dedicated members of the military community, are against this one.

What In The World Are They Spraying Trailer
Adding a positive twist to my relationship with my brother-in-law Randal Mead McCullough and his positive stuffs.
I don't know why I hadn't thought of this before but what the hell, eh? Better late than never I always say.
I loved Randy McCullough and so did lots of folks and maybe that's why he was so successful in his drug dealings. On the one hand was his negative world but to counter that, Randy had a caring side too that he showed to his friends and family.
Randy worked for the family company; SAIS in Dos Palos, CA and he traveled in both his drug dealings and his sales for SAIS.

Mailing Address: 18015 State Highway 33, Dos Palos, CA 93620 (Remember I told yaw'll that the business was on Highway 33???)
I remember Randy wearing a specific T-shirt and I think he was trying to sell the shirts to alert people to the Kesterson tragedy. My memories may be a tad off but I know when he explained all this to me, I felt a kinship to him and the way I always felt about the environment, I always loved the fact that I was a home grown Hippie Girl. Wikipedia Illegal Drug tradeThe shirts had skulls on them and they referenced Kesterson Wildlife refuge. (Hey, it was the 1980s so I'm not real clear on some of this but now that I think of it, I'm almost positive he was selling the shirts and trying to get attention paid to what was going on.)
Randy's family business sold bearings and supplies for farming equipment. Janet Vincent worked for SAIS for many years and even found and married her first husband while she worked there. Terry Cole was his name and he was a nephew to my first husband's business partner; Jim Cole.
Terry and Janet seemed like the ideal couple and they were very happy. Terry worked for his father and uncle in the hay baling and swathing business.
.......... to make a long story short, Terry started experiencing some devastating symptons to being constantly in the fields. He would call his young wife sometimes and he would be lost. He didn't know where he was and he was often frightened when this happened.
Terry's 'illness' was getting worse and worse and one day he called his wife at SAIS and said he couldn't stand it anymore, he was at their home. Janet and my husband's brothers rushed to their home only to find that Terry had shot himself in the head but he was still alive when she, Randy and Storm arrived. (Could Terry have been murdered by someone else? If he appeared to have suicided himself there wouldn't have been an autopsy and the poisoning wouldn't have been found.)
To hear them tell the story there were blood and parts of Terry's brain and skull everywhere. If I remember correctly Terry died soon after their arrival. (The McCullough family would later go over and clean Janet's house for her.)
Randy talked of the Kesterson Wildlife Refuge a lot during one of our visits and now that I think of it, could his involvement in a movement to get Kesterson shut down part been of the reason he was murdered? hmmmmmmm I guess I'll never know. (Remember, if you will, that all of Randy's SAIS customers were farmers and were aware of the problems associated with Kesterson.)
I do know one thing, Randy's customers in both businesses were pretty high up in society and he was talking shit right and left about Kesterson. Most of his connections were business owners and lawyers and sons of doctors.

In the last few decades, Carter begins, well over a billion dollars in taxpayers’ aid has been provided to a few hundred growers in the Westlands Water District (Westlands), which is part of the San Luis Unit of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Central Valley Project (CVP) in Central California. The CVP is the largest publicly funded water-management system in the United States, and Westlands is the biggest agricultural irrigation district in America. At nearly 1000 square miles, the Westlands is still dominated by a few pioneer dynastic families although congressional backers of the San Luis Unit a half a century ago promised that 6100 small family farms would be created if Northern California river water was brought to the desert on the West Side of the San Joaquin Valley (Valley). The promise was never kept and the larger landowners are still in control…

How do I share this information without others thinking that I'm
conceited? Oh well, I'll just have to take the chance.
Here goes.
It started when he saw Brad. He fell in love. He wasn't the first
one, Brad brought that out in everyone.
He was a beautiful baby and well behaved. He was happy and he was
sweet. He was gentle and now, looking back, he was simply Brad.
I believe Randy fell in love with Brad right away. The next thing we
knew, Randy and Laura were getting married. Laura was pregnant. It
seems Randy wanted a son. He got one.
Randy and Russ had a nephew and niece already but Brad had red hair.
Brad looked like them. Aric and April had blonde hair like their
father and mother.
Brett Wesley was born a year and five months after Brad. He was and
is the spitting image of his father.
Randy and Laura must have liked being parents as it wasn't long before
Laura was pregnant again. They were extatic.
We spent lots of time together during this time and I got to know my
brother-in-law. We always had much to talk about. There was one
subject however that wasn't discussed. Drugs.
I didn't know till years after Randy died that he had a 600$ a day cocaine habit.
One might think that was enormous and wonder how he supported this
habit. Randy had a huge clintele and 600$ a day wasn't that big a
deal for my brother-in-law. It was a way of life.
As Laura got close to delivery she and Randy developed serious marital
problems. Laura couldn't stand the hours Randy worked. Not only did
he maintain his route at work but he had his outside business as well
that took up much of his times.
I started noticing that there were severe arguments when I visited
with Laura. Randy was never home and Laura resented it.
One night after the baby came we visited with Laura and Randy arrived
late. I didn't know at the time that they were separated. Randy was
living at the shop in the play area they had remodeled.
We had a wonderful evening and we all bonded nicely. At one point
Randy mentioned that he would like us to raise the boys if something
happened to him and Laura. BTW, the baby's name is Chad Bryan.
Not long after our visit, Randy replaced the Red BMW with a new family
car, a Cadilac; I had a Cadilac.
I visited with Laura now and again to watch Chad growing into a cute
little toddler.
On one such occasion Laura and I were drinking and I noticed she'd had
a lot. She asked me if I wanted to snort some coke. I told her maybe
that wasn't a good idea as the kids were around. She didn't skip a
beat. She broke out the biggest bag of cocaine I ever saw and I was
astonished.
Laura was very angry with Randy and was being careless with the bag.
After a while, she brought out another equal sized bag and left the
first one opened on the bar.
I was getting nervous as I had never seen anything like it before and
I knew that there was an awful lot of money in the two containers.
About the time I was ready to round up my son and leave, I heard the
pick-up. OMG, Randy was home.
Randy walked in and saw the situation and went livid. He started
yelling and screaming and telling his wife that the coke that was on
the bar could get them both killed if something happened. As life
would have it, I think THAT may have been the case.
Randy screamed at his wife that he hadn't even cut the coke yet. I
was moving toward the door with Brad and encouraging the couple to
please consider the kids and calm down.
I guess I made an impression on my brother-in-law as he quieted down
and he closed up the bags and suggested that he and Laura walk me
out.
I remember the last time I stopped by their house, Randy was there on
a lunch break and he picked up Brett and kissed him and muttered, "I
love you Boulder."
Russ got a phone call the day after Randy was found. His mother told
him what happened and asked her third son to please come home. If I remember
correctly Randy was murdered in Kerney Park in Fresno, CA.
We made the trip to Dos Palos and began the planning. Russ, his mom,
and I went to the morgue to identify the body. Randy had been
tortured and a family friend actually did the identification as he was
an undercover cop and knew what to look for. As a matter of fact, the
detective's wife was one of my mother-in-law's best friends as well as
her hair dresser. (I didn't know till much later when I was visiting
Laura and the kids about the torturing as she showed me the death certificate.)
BTW, did I tell you that Brad's name is Brad Ryan and Randy's baby's
name is Chad Bryan.
Randal Mead McCullough was 37 years old when he died and I don't
believe he realized that he was doomed when he had his first born. I
think he fell in love with my kid and wanted one of his own.
Randy had made a promise to his wife that he would get out of the
business and become a better family man. I think he cut his own
throat when he and Laura got pregnant.
It may have been destiny and I will always treasure our friendship.
Randy was a family man through and through and he had a cocaine
proplem for 18 years.
When Laura was in counceling after Randy's death the shrink shared
with her that Randy probably would not have lived much past 40 with
his alcohol and drug issues. His body could not have handled the
withdrawals.
Randy took a lot of love when he left this world and there were a lot
of people that judged what he did. He did a lot of harm in this world
and he had to pay with his life for what he did.
Randy also was responsible for the early death of his brother's first
wife. Debbie McCullough died at 44 of alcohol and drug problems and
it has been said that she was hooked the first time she did coke.
(I was
once handcuffed and thrown in the back of a Highway Patrol car when the cop saw
my license as there was a warrant out for Debra McCullough and my name is Dedra.
One of my first husband's sheriff's friends happened by and asked the
other cop what was going on. I was let go then, hmmmmmm, ain't life
a bitch?)
Three months to the day after Randy's death, my daughters step brother
Matthew Roussel died in a car accident and the autopsy showed he had
alcohol and cocaine in his system. He was 17 years old. The blazer
rolled on top of him and other than a slight dent in the roof, you
could not tell there had been an accident. His family questioned if he
would have died if he'd been wearing his seat belt cause it appeared that
the vehicle rolling over on him was what caused his death.
Matt's mother, my husband's second wife died a few years later at the
age of 49 by complications she got at the hospital.
There were many instances that will forever be embedded in my memory.
Laura went on a vacation to get away after the funeral. We house sat for her. Laura had shared that there was a silent alarm on the house but that didn't stop my husband from messing with the buttons. Next thing we knew there was a bullhorn and the house was surrounded by Sheriffs officers.
The phones were tapped in the house and one morning when Laura woke up there were skinned dead chickens all over her yard.
The next March, 20-20 the TV show came knocking on the family's door. They wanted to do a special on the murder. After the family had declined the offer, there was a front page story in the Fresno Bee and it had photographs of a dirty cop who was involved and also pictures of Randy's connections on a sail boat with the 'suspected' murderer.
About ten or twelve years after the murder I showed Randy's kids our wedding VHS and Chad shared with me that he had never heard his father's voice till then. He was not quite 2 when his father died.
.................. moving down the road in my recovery.

other cop what was going on.

Global Crossing papers in WTC1
EXCERPT:
We know that key records that would have proven the fraud of Global Crossing and Citigroup and their shadow network Cable Systems Holdings, Ltd, also of Bermuda so the records would be out of the reach of the United States Bankruptcy Court, were in WTC 1 on the 83
rd Floor. http://worldtradeaftermath.com/wta/wtc_info/tenants_by_floor_wtc1.asp Fortuitously they were destroyed too in WTC 1 as the SEC records were destroyed later that day in WTC 7. I was directly involved in going after those records and we knew exactly what we were looking for because we had an inside source at Global Crossing.
How lucky can these folks be?
Another tenant on the 83 rd Floor was Lava Trading, LLC, a company that developed highly advanced trading software. http://worldtradeaftermath.com/wta/wtc_info/tenants_by_floor_wtc1.asp The same reason that Global Crossing was built (global trading network by former Milken co-defendants) and touted to the moon by none other than Citigroup, who had the Cable Systems Holding, Ltd along for the ride. Guess what? Citigroup bought Lava Trading, LLC. How fortuitous. https://www.lavatrading.com/lava/lavapage.aspx?f=about/team

HOUSTON, May 19— Enron and Global Crossing used a complex deal brokered by a third company to sidestep accounting rules in a March 2001 transaction that was designed to help Global Crossing disguise a loan and allow each company to book revenue, according to executives and traders involved in the transaction.
GlobalCrossingGate Scandal
EXCERPT:
Welcome to the newest site dedicated to exposing the democratic scandal that closely ties with Enrongate. The Global Crossing scandal has been virtually ignored by the liberal media, which have basically been trying to linger on Enron and ridiculously trying to make it out to be a Bush scandal despite strong evidence that it is another Clinton scandal.
Like Enron, you have what appear to be top corporate bigwigs making out with millions. Gary Winnick made off with something in excess of 700 million dollars alone. That was more than the entire sum Enron Executives got put together. Global Crossing had its books audited by Arthur Andersen as well.
More on Global Crossing and this time add George Bush
EXCERPT:
Then there's the story about George Bush, the current president's father. In 1998, six months before the company went public, Bush appeared on Global Crossing's behalf at an event in Tokyo. His normal fee for such an appearance: $100,000.
But during a breakfast with the company's co-chairmen, Winnick and Lodwrick Cook (an old Bush friend and former head of Atlantic Richfield Co.) sold Bush on Global Crossing's prospects. Bush agreed to be compensated instead with $80,000 in Global Crossing stock.

EXCERPT:
Riady's return to the United States poses a prickly question for Hillary Clinton's State Department: How and why did a foreign billionaire stained by Clinton-era scandals get a U.S. visa after being kept out for so long under the Bush administration?
The ethnic Chinese magnate's ties to the Clintons have been a source of heated controversy since the late 1990s, when Riady became embroiled in one of the murkiest episodes of the Clinton presidency -- a campaign fundraising scandal that caused a big political ruckus in Washington amid Republican Party allegations, never proved, of meddling by China's intelligence services in American politics.

Executives depart Reliant Resources amid trading scandal
Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal
Send this story to a friend
Two Reliant Resources Inc. executives are leaving the Houston-based company in the midst of a meltdown in the energy marketing and trading sector that started with the collapse of Enron Corp. last year.
The power generator and energy trader admitted on Monday that it had engaged in "round-trip" power trades that artificially pumped up its revenues by 10 percent over the last three years as it bought and sold power at the same price with the same counterparty.
On Thursday, it said the top two executives supervising its energy trading operations -- Joe Bob Perkins, executive vice president for wholesale businesses, and Shahid Malik, president for trading in the company's wholesale group -- had resigned "to pursue other interests."
Reliant Resources was spun off as a separate unit of parent company Reliant Energy Inc. in May 2001 to compete in deregulated U.S. electricity and natural gas markets.
Reliant Energy still owns 80 percent of Reliant Resources and is awaiting regulatory approval to complete the spinoff by distributing the remaining shares to its stockholders.

Political career
Rivera ran for Passaic City Council in 1993 and 1995, losing both times.[6] Later in 1995 he won a special election to the Council by 11 votes.[6] He then ran a losing campaign for mayor in 1997, and then again in 2001, winning the race.[6] New Jersey Governor Donald DiFrancesco attempted to prevent Rivera from taking office due to his status as a Puerto Rican felon, but Superior Court judge Robert Passero allowed Rivera to be sworn in, finding that the state had failed to prove that Rivera's crime was a crime of "moral turpitude".[1][6]
Rivera is a member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns Coalition and, when he served as mayor, was a member of Hillary Clinton's Mayors Council[8] and National Hispanic Leadership Council.[9] During the course of his tenure as mayor, Rivera had the City Council nearly triple his salary from $40,000 to $117,000.[1]

MURDER IN THE MARTINSBURG SHERATON?
By Joel Bleifuss
For more than a year, Danny Casolaro, a Washington D.C. - based freelance investigator, had been sorting through a web of intrigue--the S & L debacle, BCCI, Iran-Contra, the contra-connected Wackenhut Corp., the Wackenhut-connected Inslaw case, and the Inslaw-connected "October Surprise."
According to one of his close friends, who asked not to be named, Casolaro began receiving death threats eight or nine months ago. "Brother, just make it quick," Casolaro is reported to have told one of these midnight callers. The last threat came on Monday, August 5, according to his brother, Anthony.
How quick death came we may never know. On Saturday, August 10, Casolaro was found dead in Room 517 of the Martinsburg, W. Va., Sheraton. His body was discovered with 12 incisions in his arms in a bathtub of bloody water 17 hours after he had called his mother's house at 6 p.m. Friday to say he was heading home but that he would not make it to his niece's birthday party. On the following Monday Martinsburg authorities notified the family of Casolaro's death, but by then the body had been embalmed and the motel room had been sanitized by a cleaning contractor. Officials are calling the incident an "unattended death" while they continue their investigation. Family and friends say that suicide is out of the question. They maintain that Casolaro was not a depressive type, and that while he did have financial problems, he did not dwell on them.
