The oil spill off the Gulf of Mexico is even worse than previously thought.

Scientists studying the disaster now believe there is more oil gushing into the sea in the space of an hour than was originally said to be spilling in an entire day.

On Saturday David Cameron will speak with US President Barack Obama for the first time since the political rift emerged over BP's failure to stop the leak.
